First and foremost, God created us for a loving healthy relationship with Him.
However, Satan has manipulated mankind to crave everything and anything but God.
We must be careful not to settle for these ungodly substitutes that can never satisfy our souls desires.
Father in Jesus’ name, we praise You for our true purpose of loving and being loved by You.
Forgive us for allowing the devil to tempt us to fill our desires for You with habitual idolatry by putting almost everything in front of our quest to know You.
Help us to escape the traps of the enemy by seeking You first with all of our hearts, souls and energy.
Bless us to remember that You have given us richly all things to enjoy but never at the expense of omitting to keep You first.
Lord help us all.
